Samsung released a revision of their T7 portable SSD. This new one is called the “Shield” and it offers a more rugged design vs. their previous model. Performance, however, is the same. See more portable SSD content here.

Cord Cutters Top Cable & Satellite
My friend Luke Bouma shared the above interesting statistic about the continuing trend of US consumers cutting the cable cord. Roku, citing Nielsen data, says that streaming TV has now surpassed legacy paid TV services like cable and satellite. What’s not clear is whether or not they factor over the top services like Sling and YouTube TV in that data.
Starlink in Ukraine
A soldier on the front lines of the war in Ukraine says Starlink made a big difference. SpaceX sent Starlink terminals to the Ukrainians and is not charging for service (normally $99 a month per dish). SpaceX also fought off Russian electronic warfare attacks.

The goal of commercial crew was for multiple routes to space. Boeing is as important as SpaceX in that regard. Starliner’s troubles demonstrated the strength of multiple vendors providing launch services. No disruption to the mission - just hitch another ride.
